Hi Everyone!
My name is Harmony Jones and I would like to share with you a little history about how I started writing songs.
I played in bands for 30 years, carried heavy equipment and was always careful about how I lifted things. Get your legs under you, keep your back straight before you lift.....you know the drill !
Then one day it happened. There was a new fallen snow covering the ice and I slipped and fell down a flight of concrete steps and ruptured a disk in my lower back area.
Life as I knew it...STOPPED! After two major back surgeries,pain clinics,physical therapy, aquatic exercises, trigger point therapy, steroid and pain killers shot in my back...I was STILL miserable!
Then the" words of WISDOM" from the doctors. " Well...Miss Jones, I guess you are just going to have to learn to live with it."
Frustrated, I started writing down on paper,
how I felt. I thought maybe if I looked at the problem in black and white, I could find a solution. The more I wrote, the better I felt....
emotionally anyway, and out of the writing ...
evolved a pretty good song and I have been writing every since.
